5D EYEBROW MICROBLADING/NANO BROWS
Achieve Naturally Full Brows with the 5D Microblading Method
Eyebrow 5D Microblading is an advanced cosmetic technique that creates ultra-realistic, natural-looking brows with added depth and dimension. Unlike traditional microblading, which uses a simple 2D approach, 5D microblading layers different strokes, shading, and gradients to replicate the natural thickness, shape, and color variations of real eyebrow hair.
Using fine, precise strokes, the procedure fills in sparse areas and reshapes the brows, providing a fuller, multidimensional look. The results are semi-permanent, lasting up to 1-2 years with proper aftercare, making it an ideal solution for achieving beautifully defined brows.
Pre-Treatment Guidelines:
- Avoid Skin Treatments: Discontinue any skin treatments such as exfoliation, microneedling, microdermabrasion, or laser treatments at least one month prior to the procedure.
- Stop Vitamin E: Avoid foods or medications containing vitamin E, as they can interfere with the healing process.
- No Waxing or Laser Hair Removal: Avoid waxing or laser hair removal on the brow area for one week prior to the treatment. Additionally, avoid Botox injections close to the treatment date, as they may impact pigment retention.
- No Alcohol, Caffeine, or Certain Medications: Refrain from consuming alcohol, caffeine, vitamin E, niacin, or ibuprofen for 48 hours before the appointment, as they may thin the blood and affect the results.
- Avoid Sunburn: Ensure your skin is not sunburned before the procedure. Wait until the skin is fully healed if necessary.
- Plan Around Your Menstrual Cycle: Increased sensitivity to pain may occur during menstruation, so it’s advisable to schedule your appointment outside of this period.
- Clean Brows: On the day of the procedure, clean your eyebrows thoroughly and avoid applying any cosmetic products to the area.
- Ensure Proper Hygiene: Confirm that the technician uses sterilized and disposable tools to ensure a safe and sanitary procedure.
Aftercare Guidelines:
- Keep the Area Clean and Dry: Avoid getting the treated area wet for at least 7-10 days following your procedure. Use a damp cotton pad to clean the area gently, and avoid rubbing or scrubbing.
- Avoid Makeup and Touching: Do not apply any makeup or skincare products on the treated area for at least 10 days. Refrain from touching the brows to prevent bacteria transfer and infection.
- No Sweating or Swimming: Avoid activities that induce excessive sweating or require swimming, such as intense workouts, saunas, and steam rooms, as moisture can affect pigment retention.
- Moisturize Sparingly: Apply the recommended aftercare ointment sparingly as directed by your technician. Over-moisturizing can affect the pigment’s ability to settle properly.
- Avoid Sun Exposure: Protect your eyebrows from direct sun exposure by wearing a hat or using sunblock after the area has healed (around 4-6 weeks post-procedure).
- Do Not Pick or Scratch: It is normal for the brows to scab and flake during the healing process. Resist the urge to pick or scratch at the scabs, as this may lead to scarring and uneven pigment retention.
- Follow-Up Touch-Up: A follow-up touch-up session is recommended 4-6 weeks after the initial procedure. This ensures that any areas that may have healed lighter than expected are corrected for optimal results.
- Long-Term Care: To extend the life of your microbladed eyebrows, avoid using harsh skincare products (such as chemical exfoliants and retinoids) on the brow area, as these can fade the pigment faster.
By following these guidelines, you’ll help ensure the longevity of your microblading results and minimize any potential complications.
